Putlitz () is a town in the district of Prignitz, in Brandenburg, Germany. It is situated 15km northwest of Pritzwalk, and 35km northeast of Wittenberge. It is located on the Stepenitz River.

History

From 1815 to 1945, Putlitz was part of the Prussian Province of Brandenburg. From 1952 to 1990, it was part of the Bezirk Potsdam of East Germany.
